Codename Etymology: Pronounced blīnd'sīd [From Old English, bhel- Middle English, from Old English, akin to Old German blint "blind" + Middle English fold, ]; A cover over the eyes, or covering the eyes.
Powers & History: Precognition. Blindfold has the ability to see the present and future and all possibilities. This is a compensation of sorts as she has no eyes, rather she has blank skin where her eyes should be. Blindfold usually wears her namesake and is a quiet girl.

After M-Day, Blindfold was excluded (along with Wallflower, Ernst and Nezhno) from competing for a place in the "New X-Men" squad, ostensibly due to her lack of offensive capability.

Blindfold predicted "We're going to lose another one" during the Hellfire Club's attack on Cyclops's team. What she meant is unclear however she was clearly upset by it as she was "keening" (not crying - she lacks eyes and tear ducts) in the bathroom when Hisako found her. Hisako then had to defend Blindfold from a rampaging Beast, who had been turned feral by Cassandra Nova. Strangely, Blindfold afterwards woke Colossus and gave him orders from some unknown party, to whom she had been speaking while alone in the infirmary. This may imply a telepathic ability in addition to her precognition.

When the Marauders attacked the X-Men, Blindfold knew they were coming for her too, so she grabbed Elixir's gold (healing) and black (killing) arms at the same time, apparently killing her. However, Prodigy III figured that Blindfold was trying to hide from Exodus, so she had Josh stun her into near-death. With this knowledge the X-Men revived Blindfold.
