"Earth 1191"

Approximately 80 years in the future, humans and mutants have fought and won their war against racism and its lapdogs, the Sentinels. Rising from the ashes of the internment camps, the mutant community banded together to police their own burgeoning population. Choosing the M brand of the camps as their badge of authority, the new police force dedicates itself to upholding the ideals of mutantkind's greatest leader as the X.S.E. - Xavier's Security Enforcers!

Point of Divergence: Onslaught kills the X-Men in battle, though he is later stopped by other heroes.

Points of Interest:

  • A man named Witness (who answers to the name "LeBeau" but may or may not be Gambit) heads the Stark-Fujikawa conglomerate
  • New York has been expanded to include a Bay Borough between Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island, with the Statue of Liberty in the middle of the filled-in waterway
  • The turning point in the war against the Sentinels was the arrival of someone named Summers, who banded humans together with mutants to defeat the machines
  • The X.S.E. is a legally sanctioned peacekeeping force dedicated to the mutant community
  • The Hellfire Club is still in operation in this future.
