Powers & History: Spiral's mutation gives her extra arms and enhanced speed, strength and agility. She’s also trained in the use of swords.

When Spiral’s mutant powers began manifesting, her parents got scared and left her alone on the island of Genosha. There, she fell in love with a mutant called Longshot. But when Spiral saw him flirting with other girls, she met and fell in love with a human named Lord Scheele, who tried to help mutants out in secret. However when Longshot discovered this, he became so jealous he killed Scheele and left Spiral alone.

Longshot was arrested and placed in Mojo’s TV show where the intention was to hunt him down and eventually kill him. Spiral wanted to do this by herself and traveled to Krakoa Island, where the TV show was taking place. There, she confronted the X-Men, who at first believed Longshot was innocent and wanted to free him. Spiral allowed Marvel Girl to telepathically go inside her head so they could learn the truth. The X-Men agreed not to rescue Longshot but to hand him over to the authorities, but Spiral didn’t allow this and still wanted him dead. The X-Men fought her and Spiral was defeated by Iceman who froze her up. She hasn’t been seen since.
