Real Name: UnknownDuring the liberation of Weapon X, Rogue tried to use her power on Jean when the red-headed X-Men attempted to talk everyone out of slaughtering the Weapon X staff. Iceman froze Rogue's hand, however, stopping her. When Weapon X was dismantled, Rogue joined the Brotherhood.
During the Ultimate War, Captain America crashed the Brotherhood safehouse where Rogue and her comrades were hiding. Rogue absorbed the powers of the injured Toad, but was captured by a webbing arrow fired by Hawkeye. Presumably she was freed by the Brotherhood during Magneto's attack. She then aided Xavier in saving the inhabitants of Miami from a nuclear meltdown. Afterwards, she joined the X-Men with her parents' approval. Her parents attended the school's open house, but seemed uneasy surrounded by mutants. The reason behind Rogue's change of heart is uncertain.
Soon afterwards, she began a relationship with Iceman, but that soured after Bobby flirted with Kitty Pryde. Then she was kidnaped by Gambit, who introduced her to Fenris, twin mutants who ran a large company and promised to fix her powers, giving her a suit that prevented her from absorbing memories as a temporary measure until they could make the fix permanent. Wolverine came to rescue her, but though she convinced Gambit that Fenris were evil, she also refused to return to the X-Men and left with Gambit, to whom she was obviously attracted.
A few weeks later, Rogue and Gambit were stealing their way through Las Vegas when they chanced upon the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, owned by Fenris. However, they were confronted by Juggernaut, who had a crush on Rogue and wanted to be with her. Gambit and Juggernaut got into a fight and Juggernaut pitched Gambit into a building, collapsing it on him. Gambit was mortally wounded, and Rogue absorbed his powers and memories in a final kiss goodbye. This time, the transfer appeared permanent, and Rogue's leech powers were supplanted by Gambit's energy abilities. In addition, Rogue's eyes turned red.
Freaking out about what happened, Rogue telephoned Iceman, and eventually returned to the Mansion. Able to touch without fear, she stayed in one night with Bobby, and the two rekindled their relationship. However, during a battle with Nightcrawler (who went nuts pining for the comatose Dazzler), Rogue's kinetic powers faded, and she returned to her normal mutant powers, unable to touch again.
