Powers & History: Mastermind has the ability to create powerful illusions. He used his power to allow the Brotherhood to disguise as police during their attack on Big Ben. He also assisted in the rescue at Weapon X. When Magneto returned, Mastermind used his power to help steal various items that Magneto wished to save before he destroyed the world. Mastermind was then part of the group that was attacked by the Ultimates, but he escaped.

Later, Mastermind joined back up with Magneto after Erik's escape. He was sent to replace Mystique in Magneto’s cell. He brought some comforts from home, like a T.V. and a girl named Stacy. He is probably going to be there for a little while.
