Real Name: Robert "Bobby" Drake
Affiliation: X-Men
Previous Affiliations: Weapon X
Aliases: X6
Relatives: Father (unnamed), Mother (unnamed)
Powers & History: Bobby ran away from home when his powers manifested. The X-Men's first mission was to rescue Bobby from Sentinels. To stop a falling Sentinel from crushing bystanders, Bobby froze it, earning him the name Iceman.

Bobby was the youngest of the group, and uneasy with his role on the team (as any thirteen year old risking his life would be). Also, his parents grew increasingly concerned about their son's activities. The problem hit its climax when Bobby was beaten into a coma by David Xavier. Bobby's parents had become ostracized because of their son, and his father lost his job due to bigotry. For those reasons, it made Bobby's vast medical bills an even greater strain. Because of influence from Senator Turk, Bobby's parents decided to sue Professor Xavier. However, Bobby could not go through with laying the blame on Professor X so he publicly commended Xavier, leaving his family with a large debt. When Magneto attacked the world again, Iceman returned to the X-Men. Bobby's family became more comfortable with his life after the X-Men defeated Magneto the second time. They even attended the Institute's open house, but they would not allow Bobby to sample the Dom Perignon.

During the time between the end of Magneto and Hank’s death, Bobby became more of a joker on the field, treating assignments like they were games. After Hank died, Xavier benched him with the rest of the underclassmen for that reason, which greatly annoyed Bobby, especially when Xavier allowed the “senior class” out to find Sinister. Turns out that was the right call, for Sinister showed up at the Mansion. He was about to shoot Xavier when Bobby iced his hands, but Sinister just blew the ice, putting two in Bobby’s chest, even though he was armored. His ice armor absorbed most of the impact, but he probably broke a rib or two.

Soon afterwards, Bobby starting dating Rogue, and the two of them were trying to work out a way to block her powers so they could touch, but with little luck. Bobby was also attracted to Shadowcat, and they eventually kissed, which Rogue saw just before being kidnapped by Gambit. When Rogue refused to return to the X-Men, Bobby started dating Kitty, but she dumped him when she found out he was secretly emailing Rogue and still had feelings for her.

Kitty started dating Spider-Man, and then Rogue returned with Gambit's powers and without her life-stealing abilities, and she and Bobby hooked up again. When Rogue's own powers returned, Bobby, in a fairly mature display, stayed with her and tried to adjust their relationship. Recently, the stranded time-traveler Bishop tried to make Iceman recognize and work on his potential, but Bobby was more interested in video games.

When Scott then disbanded the X-Men, Bobby decided to stay at the Mansion. He was part of the mission to figure out what happened to Toad, even though he was not really for it. When Bishop’s team defeated the Sentinels, it streghtened his resolve to stick by Scott’s decision.
