Bishop

Real Name: Unknown
Affiliations: X-Men
Status: Deceased (Wolverine)
Powers & History: Bishop can create an aura that changes the weight and density of objects he touches, allowing him to make heavy objects feather-light or use the air around an object to crush it. It appears that with either extreme emotion or converting power, he does not have to be in contact with it to affect it. Bishop is from the future, approimately 30+ years. He appeared in this timeline some time after Cable got Jean away and immediately took control of the operation to get Jean back as well as defenses for the Professor. He lead the attack on the Finland Weapon X base, during which Cable came out and destroyed his chronal displacer, stranding him in this time. After Xavier’s death, he paid a visit to his younger self in the New York State prison, telling him to just do his time, get out, and do not use his powers. Afterwards, Scott disbanded the X-Men, leaving Bishop to create his own team. He spent a couple of days on recruitment, rounding up Storm, Pyro, Dazzler, Angel, Wolverine, and Psylocke. They immediately jumped into a fight with some Sentinels as the New X-Men, to protect the Mutant Liberation Front. After the fight, Bishop decided it was time to shut down the Sentinels once and for all, so he and Wolverine put up a mock fight to get a Sentinel to return to base and followed the tracer on it. Their portal opened up right in the middle of the factory and in front of the Fenris Twins, who immediately took him out. When he came to, he killed them by doing something with the power they shot at him. Afterwards, his team minus Angel, rejoined Pyro to stop the Sentinels that Stryfe had unleashed on the public. Once the fight was over, Bishop contacted Cable to tell him that things were going as schelduled, mostly.

Later, Sinister attacked the Morlocks and Cyclops requested Bishop's assistance. The X-Men arrived too late to stop Sinister from killing three more mutants, then shooting Angel to trigger his transformation to Apocalypse. Bishop wanted to pull back, but Wolverine disagreed and stabbed him in the chest.
