History & Powers: Presumably the same as in our universe, a man who gave up his humanity to Galactus in order to save his world. Like his fellow heralds, the Surfer no longer possesses the Power Cosmic, although he at least seems to have retained some energy-blasting abilities. In addition, he doesn't have a surfboard with which to soar the cosmos any more, though from his nom de guerre it is clear that he originally had one.
