History & Powers: The premier Japanese superhero, Sunfire was among the heroes convened by the Hellfire Club after Goblin Queen's takeover of New York and America. His mutant solar-based powers were going to be a great asset in the fight against the villainess. However, when The Six found the group and Forge unveiled his new Mark XIII version of Cerebro, Sunfire turned on his comrades and attacked. He was bound by duty and honor to fulfill the directives his country had given him, namely not to let them live! Fortunately for the mutants, they were able to stop Sunfire, and then the roof caved in, presumably killing him.
