History & Powers: Her mutant powers also revolve around magnetism, but this version of Polaris still believes herself to be Magneto's daughter. The similarities in their powers mean that Polaris sometimes covers for Magneto. When he's too worn out to act physically, Lorna still makes it seems as if her father is at his peak. Lorna was killed by Dracula in the final battle with the Lord of Vampires and the Beyonder II. She died in her father's arms, and almost caused him to lose control out of grief.
