History & Powers: Little is known of this version of Mystique, but it is possible that she is also her Rogue's foster-mother, as well as Nightcrawler's mother, given the familial cast that this X-Men team has taken. Her "natural" form appears to be some silvery metallic skin, although that may simply be an armor she morphs into for protection. She tends to take the shape of dead or inactive heroes, probably to lessen confusion around her teammates. Whether she can duplicate powers is unknown, as is whether she has any limits to her shape-shifting abilities.
