Full Name: Katherine (Kitty) Pryde

History & Powers: Once a member of the X-Men, the counterpart to Shadowcat has similar powers and ninja training. She was in love with Colossus, but left the X-Men to kill her teammate Ororo, who had been bitten by Dracula. Unfortunately, Kitty heistated at the last instant, and Storm was able to hypnotize and bite her. Kitty became a thrall of Bloodstorm, and served her mistress well, although somewhat reluctantly. She was NOT turned into a vampire. She took care of the men Ororo fed from, one of whom is Forge. When the Goblin Queen came for Ororo, Kitty (and Forge) fled their castle under their mistress's orders. After leaving Bloodstorm's sanctuary, Kitty and Forge met up with other mutant suvivors of the Goblin Queen's assaults. Kitty, now free of Ororo's thrall, began to use her full name and assumed the mantle of the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club, in an effort to save as many mutant lives as possible. Her demeanor has changed, and she is much more aggressive and cold. She may also have begun a relationship with Sebastian Shaw, the Black King, but that is still uncertain.
