Real Name: Remy LeBeau

Relatives: Jean-Luc LeBeau (father, presumed deceased), Belladonna Boudreaux-LeBeau (wife, deceased), Raven (daughter), Julien Boudreaux (brother-in-law)
Powers: The same kinetic energy-charging as the main timeline's Gambit.
However, this Remy LeBeau married his love Belladonna and stayed in New Orleans,
cementing the pact between the Assassins' and Theives' Guilds. Under Remy's leadership,
the Guilds took control of the city, keeping it as independent as possible from
the rest of the country. That is, until The Six tracked a mutant signature there.
Hoping to protect the new mutant from S.H.I.E.L.D.,
The Six were instead captured by the Guilds and brought to meet Gambit. Even worse,
Bel's brother Julien betrayed his family and led the mutant-hunters to the Guilds'
lair. During the fight Belladonna was killed and Raven was captured. Remy was
grief-stricken and outraged and vowed to find his daughter, and so joined The
Six. However, it is known that Raven is not truly his daughter. Gambit found Raven
when he was partnered with Bloodstorm (shortly after
she became a vampire and left the X-Men). The mutant pair
broke into a facility where they fought The Fallen as
they tried to recover two babies. Gambit was mortally wounded, and he begged Ororo
to save his life by turning him into a vampire too. Ororo complied, though she
didn't want to. When Remy eventually delivered the children to Sinister,
Sinister was going to kill the baby girl. Remy escaped with her instead, and raised
her as his own. The remainder of the Six did not initially know that Gambit was
also a vampire. Apparently they found out while the team was on the run from S.H.I.E.L.D.,
who were working for Xavier. Gambit helped the team defeat Xavier, who had turned
evil due to his exposure to the Shadow King. Later on, when Bloodstorm began acting
up and tearing up vampire haunts, Gambit realized that she was feeling Dracula's
presence, and he must be near. Remy followed Ororo into the tunnels under Manhattan
to keep her out of trouble, and ended up being captured and crucified by the Outcasts,
apparently expatirate members of the subterranean community Gambit betrayed in
the past. Dagger, the Outcast leader, left him in the path of the rising sun's
light, and Gambit was about to give up and accept death when he (and Bloodstorm)
were save by the Six. Gambit and Bloodstorm were then given a serum prepared by
the Brute (before he lost his intelligence the second time) that allowed them
to control the bloodlust and withstand the sun.
