History & Powers: President of the United States of Latveria, this Dr. Doom was as brilliant as his counterpart in our world, and possesses similar armor, but had a completely different personality. A powerful but benevolent ruler, Doom was lauded the world over. When the Goblin Queen took control of the United States, the U.N. clamored for Doom to lead the Allied forces against her. Doom has some past history with Namor and called in his marker to enlist Namor's aid in defeating the Goblin Queen's Sentinels. After the battle was won, Doom returned to govern Latveria. He returned to the U.S. once more, to lead a force of heroes against the Beyonder, first allowing a Doombot replica to be destroyed in his place and later leading the united heroes in a desperate attempt to stop the Beyonder and his ally Dracula. Unfortunately, like the rest of the heroes, Doom was killed by the Beyonder in that battle.
