Point of Divergence: Uncertain, but possibly the fact that Jean Grey's healing cocoon was never found by the Avengers, since the Phoenix who exists in Death's realm appears to have died on the Moon years ago, not later on in the Skull's telepathic awakening.

Another possibility is that this is still a possible future, and the divergence is when Black Bolt blind Uatu.

Points of Interest:

  • This reality deals with the events approximately twenty years from the present, putting it in around the same timeframe as the 2020, MC2 and Days of Future Past timelines.
  • The worldwide mutation affected all humans. Most people already possessing super-powers were unaffected, though a few, like the Hulk and the Black Panther, continued to mutate.
  • Those people who did mutate ceased to age.
  • Norman Osborn is President of the United States. He had the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier destroyed, which killed most of the agents. Nick Fury's LMD's survived to continually attack villains. Most were destroyed.
