Synopsis & Review by CharleyX: They take the elevator up to their floor and come face to face with - the Fantastic Four! Again, these are the FF as they were years ago. Both teams assume the other to be impostors, and a fight ensues. The past FF comes out on top, thanks to the help of the building security systems. Past Reed examines the present FF and finds them to be the exact same peopleas his team (except Ms. Marvel), so the question is, has his team been pulled to the future, or has the other team been sent to the past? Present Sue remarks that this must be the present, as she's holding her son Franklin, who doesn't exist in that past. Past Sue says that she has a Franklin, too, but though the past FF refer to him as a baby, the present team sees an adult. Franklin tries to convince the present FF that he's their sin, but they don't believe it, and the argument causes Franklin to realize this ia all wrong, and he cries out and disappears. Four Freedoms Plaza returns to normal. Outside, on the streets of New York, Forge and Banshee continue theur search for the supposedly dead X-Men, when the adult Franklin appears to them and welcomes them as his old teachers. They have no idea what he's talking about, but after he disappears in a confused rage, they realize he must be Franklin Richards. They head over to FF Plaza. Inside the FF building, a time warp suddenly appears and small robotic hunters emerge, their targets, Franklin and Sue. Outside, Forge and Banshee find a forcefield surrounding the FF's floors. Neither Forge's weapons nor Banshee's sonic scream can penetrate the bubble.
