"Earth 9910"

This far-flung future time has been blasted back to a medieval level of technology. The great heroes of the 20th century are no more. Humans and mutants have been joined by other species such as the Giants and the Kith. It is to this vulnerable time that the villainous Chronomancer came, bringing his Chronotroopers with him to wreak death and destruction. Brought to this future from our present, the time-lost X-Man Bishop finds himself in a struggle for survival against his nemesis Fitzroy. As their timeless battle continues, Bishop is joined by mutant children, who remember him as a legend: The Last X-Man.

Points of Interest:

  • This is not the same future as the one from which Bishop originally came, but it may have been created as a result of Bishop changing his timeline when he saved the X-Men from Onslaught (X-Men: Onslaught #1).
  • The loss of technology was mainly due to a giant EM pulse that Magneto unleashed years before in an attempt to stop the Sentinels.
