Synopsis by SGuthrie19: As Douglas Ramsey and Switchback look on, Destiny collapses into Cain's arms, claiming that she saw Avalon burning in Switchback's future. Things aren't looking too good for the members of the Ghost Dance either. Although Proudstar puts up a good fight against the Madri, he is eventually shot from behind. In a submersible vessel, Nightcrawler and nearly everyone else on board is choking on their own exhalations, unable to breathe. The vessel is forced to break air in order for its passengers to stay alive. Another ship run by Callisto arrives and she offers he services. Above them, the Pale Riders are in constant pursuit, but the voyage is interrupted temporarily by another communication from Apocalypse, who alters their original plans and tells them to destroy all of Avalon. Then, annoyed by Moonstar's constant torturing of Dead Man Wade, she stabs her repeatedly in the chest, killing her. Callisto takes all the passengers' valuables in return for their safe passage, but then drops them all in an unused ballast tank into the open ocean, causing them all to die from the shock in seconds. Her true identity as a pirate finally revealed, Nightcrawler systematically takes down all her men, and finally ends up in a face-off with the murderer. But thanks to a timely interruption by Mystique, the odds are tipped largely in Kurt's favor.
