Powers & History: None (human). Gwen Stacy was an exchange student in Paris when Apocalypse rose to power. Her life then descended into chaos and after nearly dying, she was saved by Doctor Donald Blake. He gave her life purpose and the two eventually ended up in Wakanda, doing what they could for the country’s starving villagers. When the Marauders (Red, Dirigible, Arcade and Owl) attacked Wakanda, Gwen fought against them despite their vast technological advantages. She took Dirigible down herself and was rescued by the arrivals of Tony Stark and Clint Barton, who killed the remaining Marauders.

Untrusting of strangers, Stacy immediately ordered Stark to introduce himself or she’d fire. The situation was defused by Gwen’s old friend Dr. Donald Blake and the four of them headed back to London where rogue Horseman Mikhail was offering peace. They then met up with Ben Grimm, Susan Storm, Bruce Banner and Victor von Doom and were all invited onto Mikhail’s airship. They were then captured and imprisoned, only to have Tony Stark nearly sacrifice his life to free them.

After formulating a plan, Gwen Stacy was assigned to help Tony Stark reach the airship’s bridge. The two made it to the bridge only to have Gwen captured by the Hulk. While Gwen resorted to violence and fought the Hulk, Tony Stark appealed to the human in him and Bruce Banner joined them in their cause. Victor Von Doom then returned to the airship alone, indicating to Gwen that Donald Blake (who had gone with Doom) was dead. She joined the humans in Tony Stark’s attempt to launch Mikhail’s airship into space for one last chance for freedom.
