Powers & History: Wanda had the ability to channel natural chaos magicks into the generation of probability distorting hexes that she fired in the form of bolts. Scarlet Witch was Magneto’s daughter and a member of the X-Men when they were still based in Mount Wundagore. During a mission to prevent Apocalypse’s troops from gaining control of the nuclear arsenal in Cape Citadel, Florida, Magneto left with all the X-Men except Scarlet Witch and the newly arrived Rogue, whom he left behind to look after the base. Unfortunately, Holocaust (then going by the name Nemesis) chose this moment to attack. Wanda joined the battle when Nemesis had beaten back Rogue’s initial assault and found that she could hurt Nemesis with her hex bolts. Unfortunately the battle did not go well for her and she was mortally wounded. As she lay dying in Rogue’s arms she made Rogue promise to always be there for her father. She was buried on Mount Wundagore.
