Powers & History: None (human). Scarlett McKenzie was a human singer at Angel’s nightclub Heaven. Despite being human, Scarlett became friends with several of Apocalypse’s prelates and even had a secret relationship with Prelate Alex Summers (Havok). Scarlett began to worry about her safety when Karma was taken from the club, worried that Apocalypse would learn about her. She tried to find a way out of Apocalypse’s empire before it was discovered that she was actually a spy for the Human Resistance. However, before she could find safe passage out, she was apprehended by the same prelates she used to call her friends. When Havok learned of her treachery, he personally went to interrogate her. She admitted to working for the Human Council but she truly loved him and wanted them to be together. An enraged Havok asked her a single reason why he shouldn’t kill her and she told him that she was pregnant with their child. Havok then left her imprisoned to deal with the ongoing prison break led by his brother. It is unknown what happened to Scarlett, or whether she was actually pregnant or just trying to save herself.
