Real Name: [Anna Lehnsherr]Not much is known about the early history of Rogue except that at one point she was partners with Polaris and they had a disagreement that led to Rogue stealing half of her powers. She also had a somewhat Mother/Daughter relationship with Mystique, who had adopted her. It was Mystique brought her to Magneto to help her learn how to control her powers. Immediately afterwards the X-Men left on a mission to prevent Apocalypse’s troops from gaining control of the nuclear arsenal in Cape Citadel, Florida. Magneto left behind Scarlet Witch and the newly-arrived Rogue to look after the base and the other students.
Unfortunately Holocaust (then going by the name Nemesis) chose this moment to attack. Rogue engaged him in combat and was losing the battle when The Scarlet Witch interfered and found that she could hurt Nemesis with her hex bolts. Unfortunately the battle did not go well for her and she was mortally wounded. As she lay dying in Rogue’s arms she made Rogue promise to always be there for her father. An integral part of the X-Men, Rogue rose to the position of Magneto’s second in command. Soon after Jean Grey and Weapon X left Rogue found herself in the middle of a love triangle with Magneto and Gambit. At this point Magneto found a way to control the magnetic field around his body so he could touch her. This lead to a jealous outburst from Gambit and caused severe friction between him and Magneto.
When the vicious hunter/killer Wolverine attacked the X-Men he cornered both Gambit and an injured Magneto. Rogue had the chance to fly one of them to safety and she chose Magneto. As a result Gambit left the X-Men immediately afterwards. Rogue and Magneto later married and had a child, Charles. Rogue was part of the group of X-Men that found Bishop in Seattle. In order to make sense of Bishop’s ramblings, Magneto had Rogue touch him, creating a psychic backlash that showed Magneto fragments of what reality was supposed to be like. Later when she heard that the cullings had restarted she led a team of X-Men to Chicago to oppose Apocalypses troops. During the fight she lost control of the squad when Sunfire went ballistic and Sabretooth took Wild Child and went off to face Holocaust himself. Later when Creed sent information back with Wildchild about an Infinites processing plant in Indianapolis, none of the team could make sense of his whimpering till he licked Rogue’s face and she absorbed the information from him.
Later, when the X-Men were destroying the plant she used Morph’s shape shifting abilities to get close enough to take out Holocaust. Holocaust was injured but he managed to get onto a teleporting platform and taunted Rogue about the capture of her child and husband before transporting himself away to Apocalypse's main Citadel. Rogue nearly jumped in the beam herself but was prevented from doing so at the last second by Iceman, who had followed her there on Quicksilver’s orders. Later at the X-Men’s headquarters’ she nearly killed Gambit for allowing Carosella to capture her son. She then took part in the final assault on Magneto’s base where she helped Nate Grey in his battle against Holocaust and attacked Carosella, abosrbing his kinetic energy away from him and using it on his weakened form. After Apocalypse's defeat she stood by Magneto and Charles side when the bombs of the human high council’s armada fell.
After Magneto stopped the bombs from detonating and saving all their lives, Rogue joined him in his effort to rebuild the world Apocalypse nearly destroyed. It appears that Rogue chose not to be on Magneto’s reformed X-Men team, focusing instead on raising their son. When the X-Men were off fighting the Guthrie siblings, new X-Man Xorn attacked Rogue and knocked her unconscious. The X-Men returned and discovered that Xorn was actually Paige Guthrie (Husk), seeking revenge for being left for dead in the Core. She planned to do this by killing Rogue’s son Charles. Husk’s plan failed and she was killed, but not before revealing Sinister's part in planning the abduction. After Magneto was imprisoned for his conspiring with Sinister, Rogue stayed at the newly-built Xavier Institute to start building a better future under Jean Grey’s leadership.
Some time later, when Sabretooth visited his home reality, Rogue was seen in with Magneto in his office, so it is assumed that the sentence was communted and the couple was reunited.
