Codename Etymology: Pronounced rĕd [From Old English read, from Proto-Germanic. *rauthaz]; The color red, any of a range of colours having the longest wavelengths, 670nm, of the visible spectrum. Nickname for red-headed person.
Powers & History: None (human). However, Norman Osborne was wealthy enough to buy his survival. Using his vast wealth, Norman created or bought advanced technology and became the freelance terrorist known as Red. He and fellow Marauders Dirigible, Arcade and Owl were spared by Apocalypse on the condition that their terrorist acts were only aimed towards humans.
This terrorist activity eventually led Red and the Marauders to Wakanda where they were challenged by Gwen Stacy. She would have been an ordinary and easy kill for the Marauders if Tony Stark and his massive cargo transport had not interfered. Red was killed by the massive chain guns equipped to the transport, piloted by Clint Barton.
