Real Name: Pietro LehnsherrQuicksilver spiraled into depression but was saved by fellow X-Men Storm and the two fell in love. Quicksilver remained loyally by Magneto’s side throughout the war, always trying to make his father proud. When Bishop revealed to Magneto the possibility of a better reality, Magneto had Quicksilver assemble a team that would continue to fight Apocalypse in case Bishop’s claims were false. Quicksilver and his team of Banshee, Storm, Iceman, Exodus and Dazzler were sent to Maine to oversee a massive human evacuation to Europe. While there they were confronted by the Apocalypse’s Brotherhood of Chaos and were forced to battle them as well as the mutant hunting sentinels. The newest Horseman, Abyss was also there in hopes of capturing Pietro to impress Apocalypse. Abyss captured a small boy and would only release him if Quicksilver took his place. Quicksilver and Storm confronted Abyss and managed to fight off the overconfident Horseman to rescue the boy.
The team returned victorious from Maine only to discover that Apocalypse had attacked the Mansion and Magneto, Bishop and his half-brother Charles were all missing. Quicksilver ordered Dazzler and Exodus to search the underground tunnels for anybody and for Iceman to find Rogue. Pietro then went to Heaven and forced Angel into revealing what happened. Quicksilver discovered that Bishop had been taken to the Madri Temple while Magneto was being held captive in Apocalypse’s stronghold. Forced to decide which to rescue, Quicksilver knew that his father would have him rescue Bishop first because he was more important to the master plan.
Quicksilver, Storm and Banshee went to the Madri Temple in Quebec and formulated a plan to rescue Bishop. Storm was to free the captive Bishop while Quicksilver and Banshee were to destroy the original Jamie Madrox. Once the original Madrox was defeated, all of the Madri Priests would become empty shells. When Pietro and Sean reached Jamie they discovered that he was nothing but an innocent victim in the situation and Quicksilver could not bring himself to kill him. The two were then attacked by Abyss and Banshee sacrificed himself to destroy the horseman. Jamie then killed himself after realizing that if he did not die, the Madri priests would destroy Storm and Bishop. Quicksilver then reunited with Bishop and Storm (who were no longer fighting for their lives as the Madri priests shut down) and they returned to the Mansion. Taking the role of leader in his father’s absence, Quicksilver decided that they were embarking on their final fight. The X-Men were either going to rescue Magneto, send Bishop back in time to stop Legion and destroy Apocalypse once and for all or die trying.
Quicksilver and the X-Men fought their way into Apocalypse’s stronghold and reached the M’Kraan Crystal. During the battle, Beast tried to teleport away but Quicksilver tampered with his computer and accidentally sent him into the heart of the M’Kraan Crystal (and into the 616 universe).
After Apocalype’s defeat, Quicksilver assisted his father in rebuilding the world Apocalypse had nearly destroyed. Alongside Gambit, Sunfire and Magneto, Quicksilver also went to Mexico to fight off some of Apocalypse’s remaining soldiers. These soldiers turned out to be Holocaust and the reality-hopping Exiles (which nowincluded former X-Men Sabretooth and Blink). Upon his return, Quicksilver was informed about Husk’s attempt to kill his half-brother Charles and was fully prepared to kill Husk had Rogue not stopped him. Pietro also fought alongside the X-Men against the Sinister Six and died protecting his father, killed by Sauron.
