Synopsis by pratik_97@yahoo.comThunderbird III:In Apocalypse's stronghold, Holocaust beats on Magneto as Apocalypse taunts him with knowledge of his plans. He uses the M'kraan Crystal to set a trap for the X-Men and tells Magneto to congratulate him on his victory. Outside, Angel fights his way to where Karma is being held and as she dies in his arms he contemplates revenge on Apocalypse. Elsewhere the X-Men break into the pens only to find them empty. As they quiz each other in surprise Gambit finds a wounded McCoy who offers to answer their questions. Jean Grey and Cyclops lead the prison escapees over a bridge, unaware that Havok is also following. Angel, meanwhile, has strapped himself full of explosives and kamikazes himself into Apocalypse’s force field generators, allowing Nate Grey to enter the Citadel. As Apocalypse continues to brag to Magneto he is interrupted by his minions telling him that the human High Council has set off atomic bombs in the Midwest, completely destroying it. In retaliation Apocalypse orders that the sea walls be expanded across Europe. As he turns to beat on Magneto he is interrupted by Nate Grey’s arrival. Magneto takes advantage of the disruption to regain his helmet and the two men prepare to square off against Holocaust and Apocalypse. The X-Men break into the chamber holding the M'raan Crystal and clear the room. Quicksilver offers to put together a team to accompany Destiny inside the crystal but she says only Bishop, Illyana and Destiny can enter the Crystal as they have no counterparts in the divergent timeline. They are interrupted by Nate Grey and Holocaust crashing through a wall. Rogue flies to Nate’s aid but Magneto appears and tells her not to interfere. Over Colossus’s protests, Bishop and Magneto convince Illyana that she can make the world better by entering the Crystal and she goes with Bishop and Destiny as the X-Men hold off Apocalypse's minions. Meanwhile, Jean Grey psychically senses the destruction of the Midwest and erects a telekinetic shield over New York to try and prevent the bombs from hitting and does not notice Weapon X parachuting down towards her. Inside, Nate Grey flattens Holocaust and heads off to find Apocalypse. While the X-Men continue to fight Apocalypses troops, Sugarman, unnoticed by anyone else, jumps out of Colossus’s boot and jumps into the M'kraan Crystal. Colossus decides to enter the Crystal to look for Illyana as well only to have Iceman block his way. He smashes through him but Gambit manages to temporarily knock him down. Inside the Crystal, Destiny finds the correct timeline and Illyana accesses her powers for the first time to create a portal that Bishop enters. In England the Trasks watch the defence walls approach while in his citadel Apocalypse watches his centuries of planning unravel. His thoughts are interrupted by the arrival of Magneto and Rogue. Magneto reconstructs his armor with machinery from the room and prepares to fight, only to be interrupted by the appearance of Guido holding Charles captive. As Weapon X lands, Havok blasts and fatally wounds Jean. Cyclops calls him a fool only to be killed by Havok as well. Havok stands and gloats over his ‘victory’ only to have Weapon X gut him from behind. Logan can do nothing else but watch Jean Grey die in his arms. Meanwhile Bishop materialises in the past, right in the middle of the fight between Legion and Magneto. He moves to stop what he knows will happen next, only to be held back by his younger self. In the present Morph gets nailed by a stray shot and McCoy makes use of the opportunity to try and transport himself into the center of the M'kraan Crystal, but Quicksilver meddles with the beam's placement. Meanwhile Kitty stands in a marauding Colossus’s way as he charges the Crystal. Trusting him to stop, she stands in his way without phasing, but he tramples her to death. He is momentarily stunned by his actions and Gambit takes advantage to fatally wound him. As he dies, he begs forgiveness from his sister for not being as strong as she was. Illyana tells Quicksilver that she is now scared as well. Rogue, meanwhile, has taken all of Guido’s strength away, leaving him as a curled up mess. As he begs for his power back, Rogue channels it all into one punch, flattening Guido. She then retrieves her son and they watch the battle between Apocalypse and Magneto. As Magneto goes down Apocalypse tries to escape with the original shard of the M'kraan Crystal, only to have Nate Grey take it off him and knock him down. In the past Bishop knocks out his younger self telling him to "remember," then stops David from killing Magneto. Plunging David’s knife into himself, he creates an energy backlash that kills Legion. As David lies dying Bishop chides him for his mistakes. With no anchor in the past, the rest of the X-Men are transported to the future as the timeline rebuilds itself leaving a very clueless Magneto, Professor X and Gabrielle Haller in the past. In the unreconstructed timeline Magneto and Nate Grey have Apocalypse on the ropes when Holocaust appears and attacks Nate Grey. In desperation Nate Grey stabs Holocaust with the Crystal shard he holds and they both disappear into a temporal rift. Apocalypse continues to beat on Magneto and taunts him for not fighting back but Magneto plays his trump card. He has spent all this time quietly charging Apocalypse with magnetic energy and he uses this energy to tear him apart. Magneto calls Rogue and Charles over to his side and Rogue asks him if he thinks Bishop ‘fixed’ things. He tells her that they can only hope. As he holds his family together as the bombs rains down on Apocalypse's Citadel he thanks his friend Charles Xavier for changing his life and giving him the faith and courage to follow his dream and hope for a better life.
