Powers & History: Northstar has superhuman speed, the ability to fly and create bright flashes of light when in contact with his twin sister.

Jean-Paul Beaubier and his twin sister Jeanne-Marie were given the option to join Apocalypse’s forces. Believing in Apocalypse’s idea of mutant superiority, Northstar accepted and became a high-ranking Prelate. The twins appear to have been placed in charge of patrolling the grounds outside the holding pens. Northstar recaptured the escaped mutant Newt when Artemis led a group of mutants out of the pens. When Scott Summers helped Lorna Dane escape from Apocalypse’s holding pens, they were stopped by Aurora and Northstar. Cyclops and Polaris fought them and both Northstar and Aurora were gravely injured and near death when found by Apocalypse’s troops.

After Apocalypse’s rule ended, Northstar and Aurora went to the Canadian wilderness where they slaughtered new human settlements for their supplies. They were attacked and killed by Kirika and Weapon X.
