[Following a romance with Charles Xavier while the two of them were in Oxford together, Moira broke off the relationship with a letter.] The coming of Apocalypse apparently destroyed Moira’s positive attitude, turning her into a cold person. She eventually became a member of the Human High Council in Europe alongside her husband Bolivar Trask. Moira also knew Weapon X long ago and didn’t care for him. Moira was completely in favor of a pre-emptive strike on Apocalypse, ready to end his reign no matter the cost of innocent lives. When fellow council members Emma Frost and Brian Braddock went along with the Council’s attack on the States, Moira stayed behind to talk peace with rogue Horseman Mikhail. This peace treaty was a farce and Mikhail had his enhanced soldiers attacked their meeting. Moira was killed point blank by Mikhail’s soldiers.
