Powers & History: Leech generates a field that negates mutant powers. He was a test subject in Sinister’s labs before the fall of Apocalypse. When Apocalypse was defeated, Leech and several other escaped mutants fled to the sewers and became the Morlocks. They were eventually approached by Magneto and his X-Men who informed them that they no longer had to live in fear. Not trusting anybody, a fight soon broke out between the Morlocks and the X-Men. Leech used his mutant power to negate the powers of the X-Men which gave the Morlocks the upper hand. The X-Men regained their powers after Storm punched Leech in the head and knocked him unconscious.
