Powers & History: Karma could psionically force herself into another’s mind, controlling their actions. She was Angel’s partner in running the nightclub Heaven, a sanctuary for those privileged enough to afford it. Karma was much less trustworthy of others than Angel and seemed to have resentment towards humans. When known mutant terrorist Gambit entered Heaven to see Angel, Sebastian Shaw witnessed their conversation and informed Apocalypse. Apocalypse then captured Karma in order to learn about all of Angel’s dealings. Karma was the perfect choice to capture since she regularly entered others' minds to obtain information to protect Heaven. She was tortured by Apocalypse in order to get the information he wanted. By the time Angel was able to rescue her, Karma was nearly dead and apologized for revealing the information. She then died in his arms.
