Powers & History: Enhanced strength, durability and energy blasts. The Infinite soldiers were the shock troops for Apocalypse, created by Sinister and the Beast. They were used throughout Apocalpyse’s empire doing a multitude of jobs. The process to create Infinite soldiers generally began with disassembling humans and inferior mutants into their basic genetic structure. This primordial soup is then manipulated and eventually turned into the organic foundation for the Infinite soldiers. The soldiers also appeared partially technological so it is possible that they were an organic-mechanical hybrid. However, certain higher-powered mutants such as Unus and Vanisher appear to have been turned into Infinites using their existing bodies and minds. The extent of their modifications is uncertain, but they certainly received implants and genetic work on their powers. The Infinites were created and processed in a plant managed by the Horseman Holocaust. This facility was attacked by Rogue’s team of X-Men and destroyed. The destruction of the processing plant effectively stopped the production of Infinite soldiers although it is possible there were other plants. However, with Apocalypse's defeat it is unlikely that any of them survived.
