Powers & History: Jay had glowing wings allowing him to fly. How Jay Guthrie survived is unknown since all the Guthrie siblings except Elizabeth, Sam and Paige were culled. It is possible his mutant power manifested just before they killed the human siblings but after the mutant siblings left. After the fall of Apocalypse, he reunited with his siblings Cannonball, Amazon and Husk and joined in their plan to exact revenge on the X-Men. This plan failed and Jay was killed with his brother Sam by being crushed to death by Magneto.
