Codename Etymology: Pronounced dŏm'ə-nō' [From French domino, probably (on comparison of the black tiles of the game) from the meaning "hood with a cloak worn by canons or priests," from Latin dominus "lord, master"] Flat, rectangular blocks, divided into two squares, with the face of a die on each square. Also a mask covering only the eyes and just above and below.
Powers & History: Domino’s cerebral cortex emitted bioelectric pulses that raised her strength and agility to peak levels and initiated random telekinetic acts that caused probabilities to fall into place for her. Domino was as highly trained and deadly as her 616 counterpart. She was employed as a bounty hunter by Apocalypse and was very successful in her ‘job’ and was held in high regard by Apocalypse until her eventual demise.
When the Shadow King informed Apocalypse of the possible presence of an unknown but immensely powerful telepath in the Midwest, Domino, along with Grizzly and Caliban, was part of the team sent to track down and kill the telepath. A battle with Russian mutant Rossovich led to Domino killing him when they failed to gain any information from him. They finally managed to track down the telepath, Nate Grey, to an abandoned farm house after following information provided by the Madri. Domino faced Nate Grey and was ready to strike the killing blow when she was distracted by one of Theresa’s (Sonique's) screams. Nate used that opportunity to attack Domino psychically, peeling back the layers of her mind and making her relive all the murders she has committed, leaving her a mindless husk.
