Codename Etymology: Pronounced dĭrĭgĭble [From French dirigeable, lit. "capable of being directed or guided," from L. dirigere "set straight"] A large airship, usually a solid-framed blimp.
Powers & History: None (human). However, Wilson Fisk’s immense wealth allowed him to buy his way into the service of Apocalypse. Using highly advanced technology, Fisk transformed himself into the human hunting freelance terrorist known as Dirigible. Dirigible joined Red, Owl and Arcade to form the Marauders, a group of terrorists tolerated by Apocalypse as long as their acts were only towards humans. Their terrorist activity eventually led the Marauders to Wakanda where they were challenged by Gwen Stacy. Dirigible underestimated Gwen’s capability with her primitive weapon and was killed.
