Codename Etymology: Pronounced kəlĭs'tō [From Greek, kalos: "beautiful"]; A nymph lover of Zeus that was transformed into a bear by Hera. Zeus then turned the bear into a constellation.
Powers & History: Callisto had enhanced speed, agility and reflexes, and a patch over her right eye. She was a ruthless pirate and captain of her own ship. When Nightcrawler’s submarine ran out of air and was forced to surface, Callisto graciously rescued all those aboard. She took everything of value from the survivors and placed them in a ballast tank to protect them from Apocalypse’s scanners. Callisto then killed all the survivors by opening the tank to the icy ocean. After hearing this, Nightcrawler became enraged and began killing Callisto’s crew. Callisto managed to fight Nightcrawler off but then was killed by Mystique for taking her business.
