Powers & History: None (human). Brian was a member of the Human High Council in Europe. He and the other members oversaw the human resistance against Apocalypse and created the Sentinels. When Weapon X and Jean Grey arrived to help the council, they were discussing whether to end Apocalypse’s rule for good by detonating nuclear warheads all over North America. While discussing, the council was attacked by Magma, an assassin of Apocalypse's. Even though Magma was killed by Weapon X, the council had made up their mind to use the nuclear bombs on Apocalypse’s empire. To do this, Weapon X had to seek out Gateway to transport the Human Armada into Apocalypse’s domain. When Gateway decided to help the council, Brian began to act strangely and wished to accompany the Armada on their attack. The Armada was then attacked by Pierce and his band of enhanced humans loyal to Apocalypse. Brian had betrayed the council and joined Pierce in his attempt to destroy the Armada. Apparently Brian had been forcefully implanted with a brain modifying chip and was not strong enough to fight it. However, Brian finally managed to overcome this mind-control long enough to stop Pierce’s plans and shot him off the Armada. Pierce impaled Brian before falling off the Armada and Brian died in the arms of Emma Frost, with whom he may have shared an intimate relationship, though that is uncertain.
