Powers & History: The Blob possessed superhuman strength, endurance, and durability, his blubbery mass could absorb all forms of punishment. In addition he could generate personal gravity fields that extended underneath his feet and into the ground, making him immovable. The Blob was being experimented upon by the Beast in his labs when he broke free and attacked the Beast. He almost killed Dr. McCoy and Alex Summers (Havok) before Cyclops appeared in the nick of time and blasted him.
