Codename Etymology: Pronounced bēk [From Latin, beccus]; The hard, pointed mouth of a bird.
Powers & History: Due to his father’s connection, Barnell Bohusk was able to avoid Apocalypse’s pens for much of the war. However, the Beast eventually captured Beak and used him in his genetic experiments. Beak was found by the X-Men as he led to freedom a group of mutants who had been deemed unworthy after the fall of Apocalypse. Beak then joined the X-Men but more as a political connection, since his human father serves in the government. He hung out a lot with Wolfsbane and Xorn.
