Synopsis by Jeff Harris: Blink, normally shy and softspoken, stands up alone to Holocaust in the shattered remains of his Infinite processing plant and manages to creatively use her powers to take out sections of his life support armor and drop him into a vat of his own genetic stew, all while the other four team members take down more Infinites with all they've got. Sunfire and Wildchild head off to free the survivors of the cullings while Sydney continues to joke around, making Rogue none too happy. In New York, Apocalypse torments the captive Erik with visions of his wife and proceeds to torture him. Sunfire barely manages to stop the Infinites before they are able to kill the few surviving humans, while Morph catches up with Blink just in time to see Holocaust break free from the vat of green acidic goo. As the horseman begins to choke Clarice, Morph, or rather Rogue with Morph's powers, surprises him by reversing the magnetic flow in his brain, and then cracks more of his armor as Morph drops in on him as a brick. Sunfire and Wildchild rejoin the ranks, but most of them are quickly batted away by Holocaust's superior firepower. Morph manages to rouse Rogue by turning himself into Charles, and then the rebel leader trashes Holocaust with a rapid fire series of punches and kicks. He starts to send them to Apocalypse's stronghold via a tele-platform, but the newly-arrived Iceman lassos her out of the way and reveals the uncertain location of both Magneto and Charles. Then, a revived Sabretooth joins the others, much to the delight of Blink, and the team solidifies their resolve to take down Apocalypse once and or all.
