Powers & History: Superhuman speed. He is so fact he can even run across the surface of water.
Like his sister wanda, Petros is very much a mystery. He was born to an unknown gypsy woman in obscurity. His father was the Grand Inquisitor, Enrique, but knowledge of this was hidden from Petros for many years.
His childhood is a complete mystery, but at some point during the inquisition, he was recruited into the service of his father, where he served as a scribe and messenger for some time.
During the year 1602, he was the Inquisition's primary negotiation tool with King James of Scotland. In particular, the Grand Inquistor was trying to insure that when James ascended to the throne of England, the witchbreed there would be turned over to the Inquisition. Those negotiations went sour and were abruptly broken off when the Grand Inquisitor was betrayed from within the church.
Enrique, Wanda, and Petros were to be burned at the stake. They chose that moment to reveal the full extent of their powers and easily escaped. After their exposure, they fled Spain, intending to join with the witchbreed colony in Newfoundland.
Thanks to the bizarre weather terrorizing the world at that time, they
were blown off course and instead made landfall in Roanoke. Enrique's
services were needed there in order to send the time-traveller, Rojhaz
back to his own era. After that event, Enrique returned to
Newfoundland, leaving Petros and Wanda in the tutelage of Carlos Javier.
