Z'nox
Very little is known about the Z'Nox, since no Earthling has ever had direct contact with any of them. They are apparently natives of the Andromeda Galaxy, like the Skrulls, but little else about their origins is known. From their spacesuits, at least, it appears they have roughly humanoid forms, with hands and feet containing four large digits each. They also have two large, round, forward-facing eyes, and mouthparts that are reminiscent of the baleen in whale's mouths.
The Z'nox evolutionary path led the race to be completely devoid of emotions such as sympathy of compassion. Consequently, they became interstellar pirates, lkooting and plundering any world they could find. At some point the Z'nox discovered a giant gravity drive that they mounted on their planet, allowing them to phsyically move their world into the atmosphere of their target, causing the target world to shatter under the gravitational stress. Whether the Z'nox discovered the drive on their own or captured it from their victims is unknown.
Years ago, Professor Xavier discovered that the Z'nox were approaching Earth. He devised a plan whose difficulty forced him into seclusion for a while, leading to his allowing the late Changeling to take his place for a time. When the Z'nox were nearing Earths atmosphere, Xavier revealed himself and trained the X-Men to use their powers in the specific way required by his plan.
When the moment arrived, the X-Men flew to a base the Z'nox had already built on Earth. Xavier then tapped into the minds of all the good people of the world and broadcast every positive emotion he gathered to Marvel Girl, who fed it into Cyclops. Cyclops then blasted a beam of pure emotional energy from his eyes at the Z'nox world. The Z'nox, who had no positive emotions, were so overwhelmed by the feelings of five billion people that they fled our solar system, fearing they could not overcome such a force.
Shortly thereafter, the X-Men traveled to the Z'nox world with the assistance of the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards was concerned that Xavier's gambit did not neutralize the Z'nox, and the aliens were free to destroy other worlds. On the Z'nox world, Reed was able to use the gravity drive to open a portal to the empty dimension between our reality and the Negative Zone, and he sent the Z'nox planet through and trapped them there, fusing their gravity drive so they could never menace anyone again.
