80 Years from now…
Madrox and Layla are being taken inside the Mutant Relocation camp. Madrox says he wanted to check it out, not die inside and Layla says he won't die, and eventually he will forget the pain. Madrox asks what she knows and she says she hasn’t seen a single mutant since they’ve been here. Madrox asks one of the guards where they are taking them only to be struck in the back of the neck and is told to shut up, he is being taken to be processed.

Now…
Wolverine orders someone to get Cable who is running from the battle between X-Force and the Reavers. Wolfsbane asks them how dare they. How dare they wear those clothes and claim to servants of god. Look at what they have done in the lords name.

Wolverine manages to get away from the battle and goes after Cable only to be ambushed by Lady Deathstrike. He tells her he doesn’t have time for this and he knows she is still pissed at him but he knows someone who is pissed at her. X-23 steps out from behind Wolverine and jumps at Lady Deathstrike and slashes her face.

New York State…
Predator X leaves a storm drain and continues towards its destination.

Xavier Institute…
Beast has just managed to stabilize Hellion and checks on Nightcrawler. Above them, Surge thinks this is all her fault because she was so angry. She wanted to hurt the Purifiers but she wasn’t ready and they almost died. Emma Frost appears and says that if she might have stayed here, none of them might be here. They might have been killed by the sentinels like so many of her students but she survived. Julian was her favourite but she pushed him away, like she pushed all of them away. What’s happening now, no one saw coming. They were blindsided. Get over it. They all were. The trick is to survive it the first time and not let it happen again. Surge wants to know why she picked her to lead the team. Emma says she knew that she would protect them no matter what. Even from her. Do that now and she turns and walks away.

Hangar Bay…

Emma enters the hangar bay to find Cyclops with Monet, Siryn, Darwin, Storm, Guido, Colossus, Cannonball, Iceman and Angel. Cyclops says that Wolverine isn’t alone and he is engaging Cable. The Purifiers and Mr. Sinisters forces are still out there and they have to back Wolverine up when he gets the baby. They’re leaving in one minute.

Cyclops turns to Emma to see if she is ok because they have Monet and the rest of X-Factor. Emma says to not insult her and that Beast has stabilized Nightcrawler and Hellion for the time being and she spoke to Surge. Cyclops points out to Emma that Beast has to stay in the Med Lab; can Surge cover the rest of the students? Emma says she is very motivated right now.

Alberta, Canada…
Lady Deathstrike shreds X-23 and says that she is insulted and Laura’s arrogance has cost her life. She is nothing and she isn’t even fighting. X-23 tells her no, she is listening and pops her foot claw and stabs her in the shoulder, cutting right through her cybernetics. Deathstrike says she barely drew blood but Laura says she wasn’t aiming for her blood and Yuriko realizes she can’t move her arm. Laura heals and jumps up ready for action.

Rahne is fighting a Reaver when he mentions her father, Reverend Craig. Rahne wants to know how he knows him but unfortunately has to kick him off over a cliff when he fires on her.

As Cable runs, Wolverine, Warpath and Caliban follow. Caliban stops and asks Hepzibah to finish here but she tells him to wait. A Reaver takes aim at Warpath and goes to shoot him but Caliban jumps in the way, getting hit straight in the chest. Warpath cries out his name and throws a knife into the Reavers face, killing him. Wolverine says to stay on Cable but Warpath goes to Caliban’s body and begins to cry.

Laura tells Deathstrike that she is losing blood faster then she can heal and she cut her cybernetics faster then they can repair. She is dead and she doesn’t even know it. Deathstrike does not give up though but after a few strikes from Laura, she is dead. Laura says that she was dead the second she touched Julian.

Wolverine is following Cable when he realizes he is back tracking they way they came. He suddenly realizes why and the X-Jet flies over him. Wolverine asks what is his game and how many more people have to die before it is over.

Review: AWW!!!!! They killed Caliban. That so sucks. He was so cool and just when he joined the X-Men and why kill Deathstrike? And what’s up with the Reaver that Rahne killed? It knew her father. There are a lot of character cameos in this issue. This is the only issue where you see Darwin and Cannonball. They disappear after this but then again there are a lot of characters involved in this.

Now the art, it still hasn’t changed, my opinion is still the same as last issue but, there is a but. The panels that show Surge looking into the infirmary, for some reason I like them. There is just something about Surge in those panels that appeals to me and I don’t know what.
